Well, I made the last "update" over two months ago and never uploaded it. The thing is, about the time I was working on the update, I had a revelation of sorts and had to ask myself what the hell I was doing. While dolling is fun, I'm fooling myself if I think I'm any sort of real graphic artist. So why was I spending so much time making dolls and bases and trying to impress people and playing around in forums? Dolling has only diverted me from pursuing the real goals I have for myself, so I just had to say, "Enough." I'm not saying "never again", mind you...maybe I'll feel like doodling around now and again and post the results here, but only time will tell. I won't be back on the forum scene though: while I'll miss seeing the fabulous work of my fellow dollers, it just eats up too much of that valuable resource, time. I wish you all luck, and feel free to drop a note if you just want to say hi. Cheers!

Oh dear. Nearly two months without an update. I have been dolling though, and you can see most of the new ones over to the left. Sadly, most are not adoptable, because they are shop orders. From the bottom up: the Winged Goddess (adoptable) was my entry to the May monthly theme over at Fairytopia, "Doll Me an Alien". It was inspired by the cover of a book by John Ringo (sorry, don't recall the actual title of the book or the artist at the moment). The lovely girls in purple, along with the prep couple were shop orders. The one with the veil was actually nominated for DOTM at Fairytopia, which made me quite happy! The one on the top is my "Queen of Summer" which you may be able to adopt at a later date, but I'm using it as my sig right now at FT. I've also put some av's I never got around to posting in the appropriate section, and there's a new doll in the "Adoptions and Gifts" section.

Three dolls and two bases. Woo woo! The Goddess base, used for Persephone, is one I actually made a while ago, but it got lost when my computer died. I found a version on my web server though, and loved using it for the doll. Zaira (in the blue and gold) was an auction order at The Gathering, so please do not adopt. And Quire is a sample of my new Tristan pose. Not sure what he's supposed to be exactly...

Two dolls this time. One, and RPG character, one just done for fun on the newest Tristan pose. I've made some proportional modifications on this pose (shortened the rise, lengthened the calf). Someday, I may go back and fix the originals too. Who knows! It'll probably only happen if I actually use one of those poses again. Right now, I'm in the mood for some small, prep sized dolls. Stay tuned!

It's ironic that on this site, dubbed quaintly "She's a Doll", all the bases I have ever released are actually males. Oh, I did actually make one female base yet, but my computer went caput and I haven't tried to recover or rework it yet. For now, I introduce the Tristan base, with six poses available on the Bases page and hopefully more to come. The three dolls to the left were made on Tristan, and represent the main characters from a piece of fiction I'm writing (or should be writing, instead of making dollz and bases....)
