Quaren’s older brother. Like all of his people (except Quaren), he’s a warrior; and like all of his people (except Quaren) he’s dead at the beginning of the novel. Arrow through the throat, trying to save the woman he loves. Very sweet and heroic and all that, but we never get to actually see him in action.

I felt like drawing him anyway.

I really liked this one, not the least because it’s probably the quickest I’ve done one of these faces yet. I usually twitch and fiddle and erase and redraw for an hour or more before I’m happy. This took maybe 15 minutes.

And I really like him. Too bad he’s dead.
