I think I’m ready to unveil the new “Artifacts” to the world, or the very very very tiny percentage of the world that ever looks in this corner. Greymatter has proved to incapable of dealing with spambots without much in the way of hacking — I could either put up with the constant trickle of spam comments needing deletion or turn off comments completely. No middle ground. Hopefully, WordPress will provide a little more control in the matter.

I believe I have all the design elements finished. I’m starting work on importing the content from the old site. I haven’t updated any of the content on the static pages yet, but I hope to soon. I also haven’t decided if I want to import any of the old blog entries, a task that will have to be carried out manually, I suspect. We shall see! In the meantime, I hope to produce some actual fresh content for your reading pleasure. I have some review-type things I’ve been mulling over a while now and would like to get out.
